Henry Olyphant is the son of American actor Timothy Olyphant and Alexis Knief. While his father is well known for television series such as Justified and Deadwood, Henry has followed a very different path.
Public records show that Henry Olyphant, also known professionally as Hank Olyphant, works in visual art and art education. He has studied fine arts, worked with ceramics and printmaking, and taught art classes. Unlike many children of famous actors, he has kept most of his personal life away from public attention.

Henry Olyphant’s Siblings: Grace and Vivian Olyphant
Henry has two sisters. Grace Olyphant is the oldest child in the family, while Vivian Olyphant is the youngest.
Vivian has taken a more public path than her brother. She appeared alongside Timothy Olyphant in Justified: City Primeval and has also worked on music.
Henry has contributed creatively to his sister’s work. People reported that he created artwork connected with one of Vivian’s music releases.
The siblings therefore have different professional interests, even though creativity appears in several parts of the family.
Henry Olyphant’s Education and Interest in Art
Henry’s interest in art is supported by institutional records. Under the name Hank Olyphant, he studied at Parsons School of Design at The New School.
Parsons listed Hank Olyphant among the artists involved in its 2023 BFA Fine Arts activities and thesis program. Brentwood Art Center also states that he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons in 2023.
His artistic background includes printmaking, ceramics and illustration. Brentwood says that some of his work focuses on the human form.
From art student to teacher
Henry’s connection with art education began before college. According to the Brentwood Art Center, he first attended the center as a young student in 2013.
After completing his degree, he returned to Brentwood as an instructor. This created a clear progression from learning art there as a child to later teaching other students.
What Does Henry Olyphant Do for a Living?
The strongest public evidence identifies Henry Olyphant as an artist and art instructor, rather than an actor.
Brentwood Art Center has listed him as an instructor for classes involving several forms of visual art. His teaching work has included ceramics and mixed-media activities for younger students.
He has also participated in the center’s Veterans Art Program. Brentwood reported that Henry Olyphant and fellow instructor David McDonald provided hundreds of hours of art instruction through the program in 2025.
Is Henry Olyphant an actor?
There is no established professional acting career for Henry Olyphant in reliable public records.
This is sometimes confused because his father is a major television actor and his sister Vivian has acted professionally. Henry’s documented work points instead toward visual art and teaching.
Henry Olyphant’s Personal Life
Henry Olyphant keeps his personal life largely private. Reliable mainstream and institutional sources provide little information about his romantic relationships.
There is currently no strong public evidence confirming that Henry is married or identifying a girlfriend or partner. Similar claims found on celebrity biography sites should not be presented as facts without reliable confirmation.
His personal net worth is also not publicly documented. Estimates published by entertainment or biography websites are usually speculative and should not be confused with verified financial information.
Where Is Henry Olyphant Now?
As of 2026, Henry Olyphant’s clearest documented professional connection remains the visual arts. Brentwood Art Center continues to list teaching activities associated with him, including ceramics instruction.
His path is noticeably different from that of his famous father. Instead of building a public acting career, Henry has developed skills in printmaking, illustration, ceramics and art education.
Because he gives few public interviews and keeps his private life out of the spotlight, many personal details remain unknown. What can be verified shows an artist building a career based on his own creative interests.
